Our mission

Our goal is to help ensure every Ukrainian refugee can sleep in a real bed under a real roof. Then we start to help them get back on their feet.

Provide short term accommodations for immediate arrivals

Our hotel in central Krakow offers a mix of private rooms and dorm rooms with bunk beds for immediate arrivals from Ukraine, giving them a place to rest, eat and regroup.

Assess their needs and assist

Are they hungry, thirsty or need medical attention? Do they have somewhere to go or nowhere? Do they have family inside or outside of Ukraine they are trying to connect with? Do they need minimal assistance like helping them organize a train journey to another destination or connect to NGO services or other organizational support? Or do they have nothing and need longer term support?

Offer food and supplies

We provide groceries for 3 meals a day and delivered meals when needed. We can also purchase basic supplies such as toiletries, clothing, toys and diapers for small children, and supplies for those traveling with pets.

Provide medium-term residential accommodation

For those with nowhere to go in the short-term we can offer rooms in residential apartments for stays of up to 3 months.

Scale up and back as conditions and funding allow

Our leases are generally for 3 months with month-to-month optionality thereafter and 30-day notice clauses, so we can remain lean and flexible based on the conditions of the war, the flow of refugees, and available funding.

Support independence

The ultimate goal is to help every refugee work towards an independent life again.  We can assist with medical issues, relocation options, travel arrangements, and employment search until they have a safe and secure long term home.
